The Gospel

“But now the righteousness of God has been manifested apart from the law, although the Law and the Prophets bear witness to it— the righteousness of God through faith in Jesus Christ for all who believe. For there is no distinction: for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, and are justified by his grace as a gift, through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus, whom God put forward as a propitiation by his blood, to be received by faith. This was to show God’s righteousness, because in his divine forbearance he had passed over former sins. It was to show his righteousness at the present time, so that he might be just and the justifier of the one who has faith in Jesus.” (Romans 3:21-26) 1. Walk With God - Part 1

Look carefully then how you walk, not as unwise but as wise, making the best use of the time, because the days are evil. Therefore do not be foolish, but understand what the will of the Lord is. This then translates to a life longing for His Word, the Bible. Before we were brought from death to life, the Bible is boring, none of the things it says gives meaning and impact our lives. After we became a new creation in receiving and believing in Jesus, there came the beauty of the things we read. As I observe my own life, it is "easy" to neglect the Bible as the primary "need" of our souls. We can be easily preoccupied by hundreds of things and neglect the reading and study of God's Word. This is true in my life. That is why I plead to God for his supernatural work to enable me to have the appetite for His Word. Apart from his grace, there will be no specific ti
